From Stow-on-the-Wold and Oxford
From Stow, take the A429 (north) towards Moreton-in-Marsh, then veer left onto the A424 towards Evesham, then immediately veer left again onto to the B4077, signposted Upper Swell and Ford. Stay on the B4077 through Upper Swell for three miles until you reach a small crossroads at a dip in the road. Turn right, signposted Hinchwick and Bourton-on-the-Hill. Drive for 1.5 miles until you reach a couple of houses by a t-junction (with a large house on the right). Turn right, go for 50yds, past a large stone gatehouse, and turn right into the next drive.
From Moreton-in-Marsh and Stratford-upon-Avon
From Moreton, take the A44 (west) towards Evesham and Bourton-on-the-Hill. Drive up the hill through Bourton-on-the-Hill, past the petrol garage on the left at the top of the hill. After you have left Bourton-on-the-Hill, drive for 0.5 miles and then take the first (hardly signposted) turning to the left. Go straight on for 400yds until the small crossroads. Go straight across the crossroads and follow the road for 2 miles through fields and woodland. As you leave the woodland and come down a small incline, turn left at the small t-junction, go for 50yds, past a large stone gatehouse, and turn right into the next drive.
From Evesham
From Evesham, take the A44 (south-west) towards Moreton-in-Marsh, past Broadway and up Broadway Hill. After 3 miles, veer right at the petrol garage onto the A424 towards Stow-on-the-Wold. Take the second righthand turning and follow the road for 2 miles through fields and woodland. As you leave the woodland and come down a small incline, turn left at the small t-junction, go for 50yds, past a large stone gatehouse, and turn right into the next drive.
From the M5 and Tewkesbury
From M5 Junction 9, take the A46 towards Evesham. At the first roundabout, take the B4077 towards Stow-on-the-Wold and Toddington. Stay on this road through Toddington and up the steep, winding hill. Go through Ford, still following signs to Stow-on-the-Wold. Approx. 4 miles after leaving Ford (and travelling down a long a straight bit of road), look out for a very small crossroads. Turn left, signposted Hinchwick and Bourton-on-the-Hill. Drive for 1.5 miles until you reach a couple of houses by a t-junction (with a large house on the right). Turn right, go for 50yds, past a large stone gatehouse, and turn right into the next drive.
